Colby-Sawyer Farewell Dinner

Last night, the group from Colby-Sawyer College were met by Harry on the steps of the duomo and led to the nearby restaurant Buca San Giovanni for their farewell dinner.

Pausing a moment to take in the fairytale magic of the piazza, with its Christmas tree lighting up the cathedral’s marble and a nearly full moon overhead, the students seemed a little subdued at the prospect of leaving it all behind. There were smiles all round soon enough, however, when we sat down to enjoy a typically Italian four-course meal, which included a soufflĂ© of broccoli, tortellini, veal and pannacotta.
It’s been great getting to know the students from Colby-Sawyer, not to mention Tom Kealy, the faculty, and his son Joe. We wish them all the

best for the future, and hope that our paths will cross again some day soon!
