Arrivederci SDICCCA!

After a whirlwind two months, it was time for the Southwestern students to pack up their stuff and say goodbye to Florence.  However, we weren’t going to let them go anywhere without a proper send-off!  That’s why we all got together for a final feast at a Florentine restaurant right by Piazza Santa Croce!  A huge selection of cold cuts, cheeses and grilled vegetables was followed by spinach and ricotta ravioli, penne pasta with meat sauce and a tasty mushroom risotto.  And as if that wasn’t enough, this was all topped off with a generous portion of that classic Italian dessert – tiramisu!  As the waiters continued to bring out more and more food, the students reflected on their time spent in Florence, the friends they had made and the experiences they had gained.  We shall miss them all!
