As Florence was getting ready for the festive season, the students from Oregon were getting ready to pack up their bags and leave Florence. However, there was still time before they left for us all to get together one last time for a delicious farewell dinner. Gathering under the vaulted ceilings of a restaurant that was once part of the Baptistery’s sacristy, the students reminisced about their time spent in Florence and talked about their plans for their return to the USA. On the menu, there was an exquisite broccoli soufflé followed by tortellini with a juicy meat sauce, veal cutlet and to top it all off, panna cotta with chocolate. We wish all the Oregon students the best for the future…….we will miss them all!!
