On Foot

Last Thursday, it was time for the first Italian Life & Culture Activity.  A guided walking tour of Florence.  All 124 students gathered outside school, split into four groups and went for a stroll around the city, looking at the major historical landmarks.

Here we see Angela with a group in Piazza della Repubblica.  You can see the school in the background (just below the Pensione Pendini sign).

Further ahead, another group gathered within sight of the Duomo, hearing all about the incredible effort it took to build it.

Another group huddled next to the famous doors of the Baptistery.

The first Italian Life & Culture Lecture is on Tuesday 8th February - A Historical Overview of Italy.
